A friend in need is a friend indeed – cooperation between Korea and Kenya

In the spirit of Harambee, the Government of the Republic of Korea donated Covid-19 test kits, surgical masks and thermoguns worth $400,000 to the Government of Kenya on 18th June 2020 in collaboration with other partners (Good Neighbors Kenya, KOICA, Korean Community Association, KOTRA and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kenya). This includes KOICA’s donation worth $200,000 for Kitengela Sub county hospital. The handover ceremony took place at the Ministry of Health, where  H.E Ambassador Choi Yeonghan handed over the donations to the PS Health Ms. Susan Mochache. We are confident that our contribution will continue enhancing the cooperation between our two nations and support Kenya in the fight against the pandemic.
